When it came to naming youthful bridesmaids and page boys - expected to provide unbelievably cute photogenic fodder - Prince William seems to have exercised his royal prerogatives, Vickers said.Could we see more twaddle like this published in our newspapers? Alas, I think we could.
"Most of the bridesmaids and pages are very much from William's side, although that's not surprising," he said.
"It was very much the same at Charles and Diana's (1981) wedding."
...
Having the kiddie contingent so young could pose a logistical challenge familiar to any parent. Could we see tantrums as the ceremony is broadcast live to millions around the world? It's possible, but hopefully not.
"I'm sure the bridesmaids will be kept in line and not allowed to run amok," Little said.

Having watched some quantity of British news bulletins at the time of the announcement, I can report that the Old Country was already awash with such twaddle. Royal "experts" appeared to be simply making things up.
It can only get worse.
In which case, I shall become a Royal Expert.
My first observation will be that the unbelievably cute photogenic fodder were probably chosen from the groom's side because the bride's family are quite naff; their ghastly friends probably have horrid children with names like Courtney and Brandon.
I shall also observe that it is a fitting tribute to Princess Margaret that her grand-daughter hss been named Margarita.
I think the most concerning thing about the Family First survey was the inclusion of the questions on loan sharks and pokies. If I'm on the same side as those guys then surely I'm on the wrong side?
Thanks Paul for linking to this survey. I have tried hard, i.e. twice, to log on but get this:
"Bandwidth Limit Exceeded
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later."
Either all your readers are trying to log on, or all theirs are.
All 3 of them? What a bloody cheapskate.
Yes, I notice that Family Fist has run out of bandwidth. You naughty boy, you...
It is back online this morning. I too was troubled by the questions about loan sharks and pokies, but I compensated by voting several times.
Just tells me that there are no active surveys - try again later - but if all it wants to know is the obvious - I disapprove of loan sharks and pokies - may as well skip it...
I think we killed it.
